Some 70's twee

Dolly Mixture- Demonstration tapes

This band is sick. They're a boston-based girl band from the seventies. I can hear how much influence they have over the whole slumberland records scene. They really are one of the earliest twee bands I've ever heard of. My favorite songs are "How Come You're Such A Hit...," "Treasure Hunt," and "Angel Treads."

This band is really cool too. They're definitely pretty similar to Dolly Mixture, except they're swiss and a lot more raw. These four songs are really fun.

Some Indie Pop for the summa

Pipas- Chunnel Autumnal

Belle & Sebastian- The Boy With The Arab Strap
I know I'm very late on this, but it's worth it for those of you that haven't discovered how incredible this band is. Songs like "Dirty Dream Number Two" will be the anthem of summers to come
